Sam Okun Produce began in 1914 with a one-horse cart and a very determined young man with an intuitive, entrepreneurial spirit! Five generations later, we continue to grow by combining the best of our Old World values with today’s advances in product availability and technology, including this on-line store!

We remain committed to supplying our customers with year-round availability of seasonal, specialty, and whenever possible, local produce.

Today, Sam’s grandson Fred Okun, CEO, along with Fred’s daughter Shelly Okun, President, follow in the footsteps of his father, Max Okun. We are a team of professionals who adhere to Sam Okun’s mission of providing the highest quality produce, delivered in the most efficient manner, at a competitive price, while maintaining the respect and trust of our customers. Completing our management team are Neil Bornstein, Kenny Smith, Connie Feldstein, and Sam’s great-great grandchildren Josh Goldberg and Adam Goldberg.

We have matured into a woman owned company (WBE certified) while maintaining family ownership. Our most current accomplishment is a partnership with Sustainable Local Foods LLC (www.sustainablelocalfoods.com) to be their exclusive distributor of locally gown, hydroponic produce.
